The Greatest Doctor Ever!

Dr. Gardner has been my doctor since I moved to Philadelphia, about 24 years. Immediately when meeting her for my first appointment, I felt connected to her and felt she was interested in me. Not your usual half-listen to the patient and diagnose the problem. A real genuine, what do you the patient feel is the problem - what are you experiencing, and what can we do to work on this issue. That in and of itself made her a superstar to me! Then some years later I had a major surgery. When I opened my eyes, the first person I saw was Dr. Gardner. I was surprised to see her but delighted and reassured. I remember asking her "what are you doing here?" and I will never forget her response - "I'm you're doctor. Where else would I be?" Every since then, I have given orders to all doctors, technicians, labs, etc. to be sure that my results and procedures are sent to Dr. Gardner. Dr. Gardner encourages me to keep working on my health, she continues to listen to my ever increasing panics and reassures me that we will get through whatever the "this" is. She is kind yet firm. She's not just a doctor, but a real human being. What a lucky person I am to have such a genuine, caring person as my doctor. You rock Dr. Gardner!!!!
