A Great Help when Needed
I may have already submitted this as a thank you to my doctor (Laura Aisenberg), but I would like to emphasize how she has helped me with an issue pertaining to an injury to my foot. I had an x-ray burn when I was in high school (back in 1963.) I was being treated for a plantar's wart on my foot. The x-ray technician left me under the machine too long and my foot was severely burned. Over the years, I've had many skin graphs and eventually lost most of my toes (except for one.) I'm not the type to sit when there's an opportunity to walk, so, I need to constantly be taking care of my foot (using the correct prosthesis in my shoe.) Dr. Aisenberg has referred me to the correct orthopedic doctor and I'm able to walk 5 miles each day, which has helped me physically. She also encourages her patients to eat the correct foods, yet still enjoy eating delicious recipes! In addition, she encourages us to do other exercises and ride a bicycle to keep our bodies in shape. She has been a inspiration to me at the age of 80 - I can do a lot that many 80 year-olds can't do. I would like to share this with others and say "thank you" to Dr. Aisenberg. If I have any questions, I know I can send her a message over the portal and almost instantly, she replies! I'm so relieved to know that I can keep on with my regular activities and not worry about being in the wrong place at the wrong time! Life's too short to worry about your health! Thank you, Dr. Aisenberg.
