Great doctors are such a blessing!
I have had many good doctors in my 61 years of life. But what sets Dr. Coreil apart is his availability, listening skills, and dedication to doing deep dive research to truly understand and advise me on whatever condition I am dealing with.
I am so thankful and will forever remember how Dr. Coreil was there when I called him at 10pm the night when my mom unexpectedly passed away. In my hysteria, he was the calm voice offering guidance, information and comfort. I am so thankful for him taking my call that night!
At my regular appointments, Dr. Coreil truly listens and probes to fully comprehend the symptoms and thoroughly documents everything described into my file. He then patiently educates me on the issues and explains the course of treatment.
He is not above stating when he needs to do further research on a condition in order to get the most current direction for treatment and he will take the time to make sure I have a full understanding even if it means pulling out textbooks to show diagrams, drawing out the diagram himself or looking up online resources.
Lastly, I really appreciate that he doesn’t shy away from the hard truths and warnings that I need to hear in order to take the preventative action needed in order to best protect my health. He will firmly tell me the medications, supplements, procedures or lifestyle changes that will best lead to me living my healthiest life.
Oh, one more thing, I’m sure Dr. Coreil would also admit that besides himself, the greatest asset he has in his practice is his staff of nurses and clericals. His nurses are instrumental in the smooth running of that office. I can call or text his nurse and she is amazing at getting me the answers to my questions.
I am so thankful that Dr. Coreil is my doctor!
