A great doctor who takes time to listen and cares about your concerns.

Dr. Janna Massar saved my life. Three years ago I felt a hard growth near my pubic bone and contacted Dr. Massar. She saw me immediately and after the exam sat me down and we talked. She then picked up the phone and called UTSW oncology. Within two weeks, I was seen by Dr. Lea, who ordered test after tests. The conclusion was that I had advanced cancer with a tumor the size of a plumb. Fortunately, the cancer had not metastasized. Dr. Massar followed my progress through the UTSW portal and checked on me throughout my radiation and chemotherapy.
Dr. Massar cares about her patients and their welfare, and you can always count on her to respond to your questions no matter how trivial they may be. I must also commend her staff. They are terrific and a reflection of Dr. Massar's demeanor.
