Grandkids are here, and I am ready!!
My wife and I were blessed with our two grandchildren this year, with our ages being 73 and 69. The toddlers to be are growing, and we are exercising like never before. We see other grandparents around us, very sad that they cannot pick up their grandchildren. It is also clear that when they start walking/running, they will not be able to keep up with them. This article describes the solution: KEEP MOVING!! We have been amazed at our increased stamina and strength, just from committing to some form of exercise every day. Walking and lifting light weights, with half crunches and knee push ups is all it took. We don't know how long we have, but we are determined to enjoy them as they go about their lives, not sitting in a chair. Dr. Phillips has counseled me on this score the entire 30 years he has been my Doctor. I listened, for once in my life.
