Gone the extra mile or two or three

Dr. Pittman has been our doctor for probably 20 years. It started when our college son got Mono and I couldn't find a doctor to see him when he got into town. Dr. Pittman's office not only saw him but Dr. Pittman waited for our son to drive into town after hours. He had such compassion and told care of our son in such a fashion that we decided to start seeing the doc too. A week later Dr. Pittman called our son at college to check on him and that cinched it for us. Since then my husband has had some devastating heath news and Dr. Pittman has treated him with care and respect. He has filled in a lot of gaps for us. I ask a lot of questions and he has never been irritated with me or seemed exasperated with me and has answered them with care. He has called to check on my husband and has offered over and over to go beyond what you would usually expect from a physician. We appreciate him so very much.
