On going story

It is not "a" story, it's an on going story. Whenever I have a test, blood work for something, an mri or any non office medical data set, my doctor always, repeat, always calls me the day he recieves the data to discuss the ramifications with me, whether good, bad or indifferent. He understands that a patient's unease absent knowledge is stressful, whether warranted or not. So a call with a direct, understandable explanation of the data set to my health is a definitive relief. Some would say this is normal. Trust me it is not. In this age of 15 minute visits, reviewing data and calling a patient to discuss is purely the distinction of a physician dedicated to his patients as individuals.
