Going the extra mile

Dr. Ryan Gini has gone the extra mile for me on many occasions. I went through a difficult time, mentally, after receiving a cancer diagnosis. The diagnosis came after 69 years of near perfect health. Through a surgery and subsequently an unexpected three week hospital stay occasioned by a bout with sepsis, Dr. Gini paid particular attention to my deteriorated mental state. On a number of occasions I had either in-office or tele-medicine appointments with him. Regardless of the reasons for seeing him, he always took the time to assess my mental state. Equally, he was a cheerleader for getting me back to normal mentally. And with this new normality, he also helped me build in stronger mental resiliency to physical challenges. While this was occurring he continued to be extremely responsive. On occasion I called him in the evening or on weekends when I needed some assistance. He was always there for me.
