I, a diabetic, get a blood reading before my monthly trip to the ophthalmologist. Dr. Ensor spied my finger that had endured a blister and was now in ugly shape. He was much more scared than we laymen were. He immediately ordered his angel soldiers to start caring for my finger with medicine and me with antibiotics. One of those had an initial price tag of $7000! Through proper discussions, the price for me would be about $2000. But finally the lady from the Pennsylvania pharmacy said the antibiotic would arrive on that Saturday at—wait for it—no charge!!

The staff treated my finger twice a week. At one point Dr. Ensor praised my husband for catching the finger infection in the nick of time. Les corrected him, “We were in for a blood glucose reading. You were the one that got the finger and saved the day!”
