Getting to know Dr. Weisfogel

I have been a member of MDVIP for a little over 2 years now. I'm 74 years old, so it's not a very long time in the scheme of things but long enough to have gotten to know Dr Weisfogel. After being disappointed with several Internists I wasn't sure if his office would be any different. This, at a time when we were all forced to wear masks, so I actually couldn't see his face nor he see mine. But little by little I came to see him in other ways. His easy manner, his thoroughness and professionalism, his genuine concern for my well being, and his openness about himself. In so doing I felt a friendship developing rather than just your average Dr/Pt relationship. This is very helpful when discussing health problems....I have a doctor who cares. I liked him enough to encourage my husband to sign on as well, which he has. And, although I'm not Jewish, I know my fair share of Yiddish....he's a real mensch.
