A Gem

I moved to CA in 1990. I was treated for NH lymphoma and dermatomyositis at age 29 and having worked in a cancer center for 10 years after that I was aware of how important it was for me to find the right doctor. I did. Dr. Karl Johsens has seen me through so much since then-emergency gall bladder surgery, pancreatitis and recently another cancer diagnosis requiring more chemo and radiation. He is someone I have total confidence in. He not only listens to my concerns but understands and respects my input. He has a way of hearing what I say and then responding with an analysis and rationale that makes total sense. With his help and that of his wonderful staff, I have come through many health challenges and I am a healthy and happy 75 year old! I could not have accomplished this without him! He is a gem.
