A FRIEND IN NEED

Will Grimm has been my and my late wife's primary Dr. for the past 15 years and has always been a source of information and personal care. Two examples of such care are: when my wife Barbara died, Will was at the memorial and spoke lovingly of her. When some years ago I was in the hospital, and the hospitalist and internal medicine specialist both were urging me (daily!) to have my gallbladder removed, I demurred, not wishing to have my body cut open for less than a serious reason and Will supported me after judging the proposed process as unnecessary at the time, which has proven to be the right decision.

I feel a special relationship with him that far exceeds the usual doctor/patient connection.
