Friend, Co-Worker and my MDVIP

I first met Dr. Siqueiros when he came to work at our local community hospital, his caring attitude was apparent from the first day. Over the years working together he was alway regarded as an excellent physician by staff and patients alike. When working with Dr. Siqueiros he was always considerate of his patients, making sure the exams rooms were arranged so he could be face to face with his patient and allowing them his full attention. Dr. Siqueiros went on to open his own practice and my family and I have stayed with him. Dr. Siqueiros has been a good friend and has come to the rescue many times during serious family emergencies.
As for a moment that mattered more than others, having witnessed so many kind and empathic interactions with his patients, there is one that stands out in my mind. The patient was my Mother and she was experiencing a decline in her health, while explaining her test results and treatment plan, he reached over and took her hand and held it for the rest of the appointment. That simple act keeps him number one in my book.
