Followup Care

I was admitted to the hospital with pain in my lower left abdomen. Multiple test were run and it was determined that I had diverticulitis. I was admitted to the hospital and scheduled for surgery. Numerous doctors and nurses were in and out, but the information given to me was sketchy as usual. While not permitted to practice at the hospital, Dr. Timony came by to visit me almost every afternoon of my 5 day stay at the hospital, and was able to give me much more detailed information as to my status, the treatments being proposed, and other details that I normally would not have gotten. It was very comforting to have a Doctor who knows me well actually paying attention to my status and keeping me updated.
