First Impressions
Dr. Greer seems to know exactly what to say and how to say it, often easing any anxiety or worse-case-scenarios running through my head. He knows how I think and what my concerns are, from years of being my doctor, and it’s really helpful to have that relationship.
But my first impression of Dr. Greer comes to mind, and it was many years before he became my doctor. My Grandfather was in the hospital and family was gathered around in his room. He was asleep/unconscious by that point and passed later that day. But earlier that day, Dr. Greer was in the hospital seeing another patient. My grandfather was a patient of another doctor in the practice, and since Dr. Greer was in the hospital that day, he stopped by to check in on us on behalf of the practice and my grandfather’s doctor. He was so kind and compassionate and it really meant a lot that he stopped in to check on my grandfather and us. It’s always stuck with me, but I don’t think I’ve ever told him.
