Finally getting to see a Doctor!

In Grand Rapids Michigan our Doctors are mainly associated with large conglomerates that also run the hospitals. When you set up with an MD you see them once and then you see the PA’s, usually a different one each time I was not happy with this system, nothing against PAs, but I was paying to see the Doctor! And you could but you would wait forever for an appointment. It seemed whatever was wrong…you were referred to a Specialist in the System.

I was familiar with MDVIP as my husband’s doctor in Syracuse, N.Y., Doctor Arnold Goldstein became a doctor with MDVIP and it was amazing. I could contact him at any time, he would always meet us at the hospital and my husband could see him at the office whenever needed. Bill had Cancer and I believed he survived longer than he would have with another kind of care. I did not join as I did not have many health issues

Years went by, I moved to Grand Rapids and the care here was as I described above. I was not happy with the system and joined MDVIP for myself. I picked Dr Susan Baker and am very pleased with her and the whole office staff. She takes care of any problems I may have. She has a wealth of medical knowledge, but if necessary, she recommends a Specialist that she is familiar with. I feel much more relaxed with my care and know that she knows who I am and is knowledgeable on my health. I am blessed!
