An exellent physician who really cares.

Having Dr. Huerter as my primary care physician has been a wonderful experience, making it almost fun to visit the doctor! He always has the time to listen and to provide various choices for treatment. The time he takes to go over the results of the annual wellness evaluation is very valuable for me, now being 77 years of age. He explains the results in lay terms but I never get the feeling that he is talking down to me. On an amusing note, he recentlytreated a rather bad cut on my finger, and called me to say that he wanted to see me a second time to check on the wound before the weekend. Then, on my next visit, he provided me with a cut-proof glove to use when slicing vegetables with a mandoline! He is a really "good guy" who happens to be an excellent physician. It is very comforting to have him as my primary care physician and to know (from experience) that he will always refer me to the best specialists when necessary.
