An Exceptional Doctor

After taking two trips where I sat for extended periods of time, I developed a blood clot in my leg. I called Dr. Pelitere's office to get an appointment because of pain and concern about a potential clot. I sent them a picture and within 15 minutes of my original call, I had a STAT ultra sound scheduled in 1 hour and appointment with doctor right after. After test where clot was found, I went to Dr. Pelitere's office where she checked me out, told me what to do, had a prescription called in for blood thinner at hospital pharmacy and gave me name of hematologist that I needed to follow up with. For something so scary, it was an incredible experience. If I had gone directly to ER, I would have been there for hours and it would have cost a lot more. I am grateful for her expertise and how quickly she and her staff addressed a scary experience.
