The ER said I had gallstones, and the surgery was already scheduled when Dr. Hilty took a hard look at the x-rays, and diagnosed hepatitis A from eating bad oysters.

I'm a post-polio survivor, which means an enormous number of new symptoms. Not only does he diagnose, he sets up appointments for all kinds of necessary medical equipment, procedures, and tests. He routinely sends me to other doctors, very much like him who also listen.

If I have concerns, I can list them in an email. He will answer those concerns, and he will call me to explain. HE'S A GEM.

I think MDVIP has added healthy eating and exercise to his repertoire. Plus I think he's found a way to change his focus from diagnosing illnesses to promoting healthy living.
