Emergency medical services

On at least three occasions either I or my wife have contacted Dr Greer concerning what we considered emergency situations: 1. While working on a sprinkler head (irrigation system) in our yard, I ran a knife through the web between my thumb and index finger. My wife called and explained to Dr Greer’s nurse (Melanie… we love you Melanie) what had happened. Dr Greer had me come immediately to his practice where he stitched up my wound. I was back home and all stitched up within an hour of contacting Dr Greer! Had I gone to our local emergency room instead, it would no doubt have been a long and drawn out process. Thank you Dr Greer. 2. On Saturday one weekend, Jackie (my wife) developed a very bothersome rash. I called Dr Greer’s emergency phone number where I left a message. Dr Greer responded almost immediately asking that I take a detailed picture and send it to him, which I did. Within a very short time Dr Greer notified me that a prescription had been called in to our local pharmacy. Dr Greer’s correct diagnosis and prompt action prevented Jackie from having what would probably have been an agonizing weekend. 3. On yet another weekend, Jackie called Dr Greer’s weekend phone number, explaining to him that I had an emergency need. Dr Greer had me go to their Westchester practice where I was promptly attended to. Dr Greer followed up with me to make certain I was okay, and that I had received proper care at their Westchester practice. Of the three occasions listed above I can honestly say that each occasion was so much better than having to go to an overly crowded and busy ER, where possibly being exposed to someone or something infectious. The incidents above are only samples of the many times we have reached out to Dr Greer with medical needs. Thank you Dr Greer and to all your supportive staff for your excellent care.
