Dr William T. Weiss

Almost one year ago I had a spontaneous tear of the tibialis tendon in my right foot. Dr. Weiss saw to it that my outpatient procedure became a inpatient orthopedic surgery which allowed me three days of hospitalization, the minimum requirement for being transferred to the Memphis Jewish Home for three weeks of necessary rehabilitation before returning to my home for the remaining 4 month recovery with home health care. Three months later I had an acute herniated disc pinching the sciatica nerve at L5, S 1 . This required a neurosurgical consult to perform a lamenectomy. Again, Dr Weiss arranged for the appropriate neurosurgeon to perform this very necessary procedure. I am so thankful for Dr. Bill Weiss’s immediate attention in handling these two acute surgical procedures.
