Dr. West has helped both my wife and I out in so many ways. First and foremost, Dr. West is so easy to talk with and seems genuinely concerned. Let me cite two examples: (1) After my annual physical, Dr. West noted that I was somewhat anemic. This condition condition continued for a couple of weeks and I became very lethargic. I saw Dr. West and he immediately took action by sending me to the hospital for a blood transfusion. Then he set me up with an oncologist to assess my condition as well as another doctor to assess if there were any internal bleeding. I subsequently had a couple of iron infusions. After several months, the condition corrected itself. Dr. West took quick action and served as the quarterback among various doctors to see that I got the best treatment as soon as possible. (2) After my wife's annual physical, chemical levels in her kidney did not look right. He sent her for further tests and an MRI and she was diagnosed with having a tumor on her kidney, 2/3 of which was subsequently removed and it was cancerous but they got it all. Again, Dr. West was there when we needed him. He provided a caring personal touch for my wife to keep her spirits as high as possible during this ordeal and was available for contact while my wife was in the hospital for 8 days when we had questions. So, as you can see, we are very pleased with Dr. West; and I haven't even counted the colds, flu and other aches and pains that arise from time to time that he has helped us both with. THANK YOU DR.
