Dr. Welch was there when we needed him most

My husband, Richard, and I have been long time patients of Dr. Spencer Welch. During the last few years of his life, my husband made many calls to Dr. Welch for emergency advice and treatment. Dr. Welch always responded quickly and professionally to the needs of Richard’s increasing health problems.

On October 31st, 2019, Richard died of bleeding on the brain at the age of 90. He died within 48 hours of diagnosis. Dr. Welch was there for our family immediately. He came to the hospital and in a calm, and caring way, he told us what to expect and how to prepare. I was able to bring Richard home and be with him when he died.

Our family will never forget the warm care and support Dr. Welch gave us during that time. It was a great gift from a wonderful doctor and a special friend.
