Dr. Paige Walend has been my physician since I was 30 years old. I had a myriad of problems and couldn't pinpoint why. Through series of labs and specialists she recommended, and excellent care and concern she provided, I was diagnosed with Graves Disease. Dr. Walend educated me on the disease and treated me accordingly. She monitors and maintains my medicine based on my labs and symptoms and always goes above and beyond to ensure I feel better on my horrible days and flare-ups. Finally, on a recent visit with Dr. Walend, I felt absolutely miserable. She sent me for lab work. Before I could get home she called and advised me to proceed to the nearest hospital immediately. She said my kidneys were failing. She was absolutely correct. Not only were my kidneys failing, but if I hadn't been advised as soon as I had, I may have gone into total renal failure. She pinpointed the issue why my kidneys were failing as well. She saved my life. I'm now 56 and much wiser about the importance of maintaining good health.
