Dr. van Cleeff saved my life!
I hadn't had a full physical for a while so when I became a patient of Dr. van Cleeff's, he had me do the full gamut of tests. Among these was a colonoscopy. I was in my early 50s and healthy as a horse. Really? Well, I put it off and put it off and he kept after me until finally, like the five-year-old that I am, I said, "FINE!" and made my appt. SOOOO glad that I did. I ended up being diagnosed with tubulovillous adenoma and if you are unfamiliar with this phrase, you're lucky! If you are, you know that these polyps that form have a very high risk of being cancerous. I had more than my share of these and it could've been a very different Christmas for my husband and son if I hadn't listened to Dr. van Cleeff and had this procedure. What can you say to a physician that cares THAT much about you? Not just as a patient, but as a person. AND, he followed up with a personal phone call to check up on me. I not only have a medical provider, I have a PARTNER and that says a lot in this day and age where most businesses are turning to a more isolated approach to service (self checkouts, online boards, etc.). Thank you, Dr. van Cleeff, for taking the time to care. It's so obvious you love what you do and that's a rare thing nowadays.
