Dr. Tiift puts his patients ahead of himself
I've been a patient of Dr. Tiift for decades. I've personally experienced his dedication to me and other patients. I've also experienced him helping people( especially but not exclusively) police officers who weren't his patients when they needed help. He puts the needs of his patients as a priority, sometimes at the expense of his family's personal time together. When he goes on vacation, he's really just not in the office. He is available by phone, text, or email to help a patient.
He works tirelessly, starts his day at 4:00 A.M going to Boston Medical to check on patients who are in the hospital. Then back to the office to read medical journals to keep current and then starts seeing patients at 8:00 AM thru the late afternoon. Weekends, yup, he's either doing paperwork or handling emergency calls thru the MDVIP format.
When in this day and age, where other PCP's have decided that enough is enough and they retire, Dr. Tifft stays on because as he has told me numerous times " I love my patients".. that says it all.
