Takes the time to visit and understand her patients concerns and issues. She helps set goals and targets for better health. We had been monitoring my PSA levels for some time. They would go up and down. After several months the PSA level was rising. She scheduled more frequent labs and blood work. Each test result the PSA was up higher than before. Dr. Lasek recommended I go see a urologist and have them evaluate my situation. She provided my contact information to Dr. Matheson. Long story short was I had prostate cancer. Because of Dr. Lasek's concerns and actions I am cancer free.

Dr. Lasek is very proactive in addressing my issue of high blood pressure and high cholesterol levels which run on my dad's side of the family. My cholesterol levels have become elevated a bit after radiation, despite my exercise routine and diet. My level is much lower because of medication.
