Dr. Spenser Reed
Dr. Spenser Reed is relatively new to Park City, Utah and the MDVIP program. In two short years of his practice, he has endeared himself to his patients, especially to me. Spenser took over a practice that did not use electronic records so for the first 6 months, he spent his weekends imputing all the information about his patients into a data base. This exhausting practice allowed him to really know the long history of the people he was serving. Then he went to work getting to know his inherited and new patients, changing some medications, offering alternative ways to solve health problems and listened patiently to everyone's concerns. There is a certain calming presence about Dr. Reed who lets you know immediately that he really cares about you. As an older patient, I am concerned about enjoying my life to the fullest, and his advice is focused on making this particular goal possible. Last year I had a large back operation, and Spenser took the time to come to my house while I was recuperating. I hadn't experienced a doctor's visit to my home since I was 8 years old (I am 76 now) He is wonderful about returning phone calls and emails in a timely manner. I am able to see him quickly when there is an emergency. His office runs smoothly and you can tell that those who work for him admire and respect him. Today I was visiting the office and one of his two dogs was waiting patiently for him outside the exam room door. HIs patients love that his well behaved dogs are part of the office staff. In short, I am incredibly grateful that I have this outstanding MDVIP doctor at my side, encouraging and advising me. Thanks, Spenser.
