Dr. Sims
I can't think of just one moment in time since Dr. Sims became my primary care doctor years ago. But, the thing I appreciate most about him is his willingness to listen to me ramble on and on, the way he takes me seriously, and his appreciation of all aspects of life, not just the physical. I was amazed when he shared that he had attended Wesley Theological Seminary and somewhat alarmed, too. I asked him, fearfully, if he was going switch from doctoring to pastoring and was immensely relieved when he said no, he had simply been interested in theology. I like his renaissance-man style and I enjoy talking with him about all kinds of subjects. In November of last year I fell and slammed my face into the sidewalk outside my apartment building. My neighbors helped me up, mopped off the blood, and called 911. The hospital sent a notice of this event to Dr. Sims and the following day, he called to see how I was. With Dr. Sims as my doctor, I feel very well cared for. Add to that, he has a wonderful staff, too!!!
