Dr Shannon Mize

Dr Mize has been our family’s physician for many many years. When the children got into their teen years, we switched them to Dr Mize as well. Dr Mize has a very caring and compassionate concern for his patients. He listens to your questions and takes the time to discuss the diagnosis in a way that is easily understood. He has no problem going an extra mile for you and asks you to feel free to call him at anytime you are experiencing a problem. In 2016, my husband became very fatigued and weak. It seemed he was losing the ability to function mentally and physically. Dr. Mize ordered a series of test and on
Finding that the fluid was not being released off my husband’s brain therefore causing pressure etc. ; he referred us to a neurosurgeon to treat this problem. Last year my husband went through a period of time when his whole personality changed and Dr. Mize immediately ordered series of test . He was very concerned about this situation so much that he called me over the weekend to tell me what the tests had shown and the next steps for us to take in getting him on the proper medication It was not just a week end call, Dr. Mize was out of town for a family wedding, and was concerned about the situation . We have always felt very confident and secure in the treatment of our health issues both physically and emotionally having Dr shannon Mize as our physician. I also want to comment on his staff. They have been working for him many many years as well. Always courteous and helpful in everyway possible.
