Dr. Schmitz, is knowledgeable, caring and always available to us

We have been patients of Dr George Schmitz since 2015, following the retirement of our previous physician who actually referred us to him. While we missed the physician who had provided care to us for many years, we could not be happier with Dr Schmitz and his wonderful staff. Dr. Schmitz, is knowledgeable, caring and always available to us, whether for an office visit for a new medical problem; a call to provide us with updates on various lab tests and diagnostic studies; or just to reassure us and determine if further information or explanation would be helpful. Our visits with him are never rushed, he is always prepared; he reviews other MD notes and tests before our visit and always welcomes questions. His involvement isnt just during usual office hours but during evenings and weekends too. Because my husband in particular has several medical conditions and many different physician specialists, it is truly reassuring to know that Dr Schmitz, as our primary care provider, oversees and coordinate all of it! It is quite apparent that Dr Schmitz quiet demeanor, caring and highly individualized care is also embraced by his staff.they too are always kind and responsive. When sooo much is todays healthcare system is fragmented, chaotic, confusing and impersonal, we truly feel blessed that Dr Schmitz is our physician and pleased as well with MDVIP!!
