Dr. Samuel Johnsen of Maui

I have not been with MDVIP long, but whether through the pandemic or through the Lahaina fire that destroyed his office and equipment and forced him to seek alternative temporary space for his practice, Dr. Johnsen was always available. But what I appreciate the most is that Dr. Johnsen listens carefully, spends the time needed to understand my situation and needs, and then takes the most prudent approach rather than jumping to aggressive treatments. His remedies are sometimes ones I've never heard before but make sense for a layman to grasp, This is refreshing and unusual. I think of him as a wise old country doctor, and look forward to his expertise in the coming years.
