Dr. Ruth Eckert is an exceptional primary care physician and a genuinely kind and caring human being! She has been my doctor for over 30 years and when she joined MDVIP, I signed up, too!
Dr. Eckert takes the time to listen, communicate, educate and support me and her focus is on prevention as well as treatment. Since joining MDVIP, Dr. Eckert is more available and can attend more fully to my overall health and wellness. Often I can be seen on the same day that I call for an appointment and she is always accessible by phone for consultation. The yearly MDVIP physical provides a wonderful opportunity for us to discuss my current health status and create a plan to address health issues and wellness enhancement. She works with me to find the right medication or to adjust the dosages based on my unique needs. She finds referrals to specialists that I may need and coordinates and communicates with these physicians.
It is such a comfort to have a physician like Dr. Eckert. She knows me, has followed me through various ages and stages of my life and understands my health care needs. She truly embodies the spirit of the MDVIP philosophy of creating a genuine relationship with her patients and providing the continuity of care that is so essential to health, healing and well being.
