Dr Patricia Phillips, Yarmouth Maine…. My doctor for decades

It is not often that you get to see/hear what your doctor does for other patients. But my doctor was also the doctor of my very best friend, who fought a decades long cancer battle. Because my friend and I were so close, I often went to appointments with her on this agonizingly long medical journey. She gave the doctors permission to chat with me and teach me how I could support a friend. Dr Phillips was all IN all the time. She kept me in the loop when it was appropriate and followed up with me about my own medical needs as well as this friend. Dr Phillips is there when you need her. She and her incredible staff make things happen for their patients very quickly. She even calls to check on you after a non-medical emergency. Because she really cares about her patients. You never feel rushed although it is rare that she is behind schedule and keeps you waiting. She has been my doctor since before her son was born and now he is well out of college and working. She is to quote Tina Turner…. Simply the BEST!!!
