Dr. Miles is the finest diagnostician.

Retiring to New Orleans ten years ago meant I had to find an internist. Dr. Miles was reccomended by a long-time patient to whom I owe a debt of gratitude. Dr. Miles is the finest diagnostician I have ever known, taking endless time to trace illnesses to their source. He listens patiently to symptoms -- even the most bizarre -- and, rather than dismissing complaints, which many physicians do, goes into medical detective mode to discover and solve the underlying cause. Additionally, he is kind, thorough, and never an alarmist. When we deal issues outside his purview, such as spinal problems, he has recommended excellent specialists. Dr, Miles deserves 20 out of 5 stars!
