Dr. Matthew Velsmid, Primary Care Physician

My primary care physician is Dr. Matthew Velsmid in Southbury, Connecticut. Dr. Velsmid is a very knowledgeable and professional physician who genuinely cares for his patients. He takes the time to listen to your concerns and he supports and validates your opinions. When I had knee replacement surgery this past Spring, my restless leg syndrome flared-up and caused me much discomfort and lost sleep. Dr. Velsmid was patient and understanding with me and took the time to guide me through this experience while carefully deciding on a course of treatment that was ultimately successful in treating this condition. I am immensely grateful for his expertise, patience and understanding. He is a credit to his profession.
