Dr. Manny Silis Goes the Distance!

When I signed up with Dr. Manny for MDVIP services about 10-12 years ago, it was with an eye, particularly, on having a doctor who could "walk with me" as I grow older, especially because I already had a long standing chronic illness, asthma.

Last year, in particular, was especially challenging with health considerations, including a hospitalization and a difficult asthma exacerbation. Knowing that Dr. Manny was always accessible, readily available for in office visits, and responsive to my concerns was of great comfort, and more, helped me get through the health issues readily...and sanely.

What I value most about having Dr. Manny as my primary physician is he works with me as a partner in my health care, not as my boss.

Most recently, Dr. Manny told me something interesting... that many or most primary care doctors do not visit patients in the hospital anymore, but instead, they let the inhouse Hospitalist Physician tend to their patients until discharged. However, Dr. Manny continues to make hospital rounds where he is an attending physician--a care practice that is invaluable to his patients.
