Dr. Michele Leder took me into her practice when she heard of my difficulties in getting responsive care to my Melanoma..She immediately contacted the Oncology Surgeon's Office and got the process of testing and appointments, moving. She insisted that I get a second opinion at Sloan Kettering in Manhattan, NY and made the necessary arrangements. She continued to actively follow the progress of the various appointments to see that nothing was overlooked (which had been the case prior to her involvement). Following surgery by the surgeon in my local area, she continued to follow my aftercare and advise on additional actions she felt were necessary.
As the Cancer was a Stage 2 and growing, it required immediate attention which was not happening prior to her intervention.
