Dr Joseph DeRosa--Westfield NJ

I went to Dr DeRosa about some swelling on the side of my neck back in 2010, He prescribed an antibiotic as it ight have been a cold but also gave me the name of a Head, Neck and Throat doctor to make an appointment with if it did not get better in a week. The situation did not improve and I kept my appointment--within 10 minutes I was diagnosed with Tonsilar Carcinoma Stage 4. I was then referred on to Dr Urken in NYC a renowned expert in the field. After 28 intensive days of chemo and radiation I can happily say I have been cancer free for the past thirteen years. When I was originally diagnosed back in 2010 I had twin nine year old girls and luckily it was not my time to go. Dr. DeRosa played a very large part is starting the process and for that I am am eternally grateful. Wonderful doctor and man. Regards Bill
