In my experience for the last 20+ years, Dr. Jeffrey Schmidlein has been a caring, compassionate, easily accessible super diagnostician. He listens, asks pertinent questions and provides care with appropriate methods, everything from medicines to recommendations for tests, physical therapy or lifestyle changes. Perhaps most important, he literally saved my life. Because I smoke, several years ago he said I should get a chest X-ray. As a result of that test, he realized I probably had lung cancer and immediately sent me to a team of specialists. Fortunately, the cancer had been identified early, was removed quickly, and I required no chemotherapy or radiation. I am more than delighted that Dr. Schmidlein is my primary physician.
