Dr. Jacobus: ''Being There at the Right Time''....

Brent Jacobus has been my Family Physician for a long time. He has always been there for the physical well-being of me and my daughters' lives, but it was the one time I never expected his care to make a difference that it made a change I will always remember. After a bitter and stressful changing time in my Life with regards to my marriage, Brent noticed that everything was not well. After an hour-long conversation at which time I never expected to unload my personal struggles on anyone, he gave me some of the best advice and support I could have ever received from anyone. He literally took the time to listen and sympathize with me at truly the most difficult time in my Life to this point. I felt like that man was truly a gift sent to me by God to help take me across a bridge that I never thought I would ever cross. By simply giving me the compassion and courage to keep moving forward in Life, he gave me the ladder to truly climb out of the hole I was in. I always felt Brent was there for me, but I left his office that day with the strength I needed to keep going for the betterment of my Family. I never questioned my will, but I was simply given the time and gratitude that the world so rarely gives us in hard times by a person I least expected it from on a day when I needed it most.
