Dr. Holmes of medicine!

Dr. Rychetsky is a truly compassionate physician and she doesn't let you off easily when she knows what is best. I had elevated blood pressure (135/85) and didn't think it was a big deal since I am over the age of 65. She thought it would be best to work to keep my blood pressure closer to normal. i do have a history in my family of strokes so even though I am fit for my age and eat well, I could still have a problem. I tried to minimize the situation, but she was strongly advocating for treatment. I had concerns about taking medication, and had heard stories from friends about their reactions to the drugs. She prescribed lisinipril and told me what the possible side effects could be and to watch for them and stop immediately and call if I had any problems. I didn't and my BP has been good ever since. I am so grateful that my wife and I have Dr. Rychetsky as our Doctor!
