Dr. Harvey

A little more than a year ago I needed to find a family doctor. After checking with several doctor offices I was unable to get an appointment for 2 -3 months or the offices were not accepting new patients except when I contacted Dr. Harvey’s office. I was able to get an appointment with Dr. Harvey and within a few days. Dr. Harvey and I talked about my past and present health along with family history. Dr. Harvey then checked me over and when he pressed on my abdomen he said he feels my liver was swollen along with possibly my pancreas. He set me up to obtain an ultra sound at the local hospital. The results showed issues with my liver. After a few more tests Dr. Harvey set up for me to have a biopsy of my liver. Yes the biopsy showed that my liver has cancer. Dr. Harvey asked if I would go to City Of Hope Cancer Center located in Zion, Ill. I started treatment at City Of Hope and now a little more than a year ago I am nearly cancer free. Talking with family and friends it was hard for them to believe how fast Dr. Harvey diagnosed and obtained treatment for me. I really believe if I had not gone to Dr. Harvey as opposed to another doctor, treatment of my cancer would not have gone as smoothly and be on a road to recovery. Dr. Harvey is a credit to his profession. I can't say enough good about Dr. Harvey, he cares about his patients and does everything he can for his patients.
