Dr. Griffin is the best!

For more years than made sense, I lived with standard medical care. I would make an appointment, show up ten minutes early, wait for an additional 20 before being taken into the exam room. I would then wait another 10-15 minutes at which time the nurse would show up, ask how I was feeling, take my vitals, then disappear saying the doctor would be with me shortly. After another 10 minutes or more, my PCP would finally show up, discuss my health for maybe 5 minutes and then I would be done. Basically it would mean an hour or more at his office for five minutes with my PCP, travel time not included.

When my friend (who had been using Dr. Griffin's concierge service for a number of years) finally convinced me to make the move, my medical care changed radically. Now my appointments take the time that is properly needed, appointments are easily made and promptly kept, and most importantly, if something urgent comes up Dr. Griffin is always available in a very short time. At my age, I had decided that I needed better care and now I am most grateful that I finally have it.

To illustrate, not long ago I foolishly put off calling when I began experiencing shortness of breath over a period of several nights. It became so bad that it finally freaked me out and I sent an email to Dr. Griffin at around 5:00 am. He quickly got back to me to insist that I immediately come to the office. He made a tentative diagnosis of congestive heart failure, prescribed some meds and gave me a referral to a cardiologist who was able to see me within a few days. His diagnosis was correct, and now slightly more than a year later I'm doing great. Thanks a million, Dr. Griffin.
