Dr. Greg Hood

5000 characters is really not enough to express my admiration and appreciation for all Dr. Hood has done for our family! He has wonderful doctors available when you need a specialist, we are always able to see additional care quickly, He’s always available with a text or a call and even becomes upset if we don’t call him quickly!! I don’t know other doctors who you can even reach much less respond and really care about getting you seen quickly!!
He uses extensive resources to know about his patients bodies and our family history. He always uses the latest technology to seek the best approach to healing and correcting problems that could lead to danger.
I am not an easy patient to diagnose or treat. I have many drug allergies and sensitivity’s. I require smaller amounts of medication and he makes sure that my products are correct for me and helps me with insurance to get those medications approved quickly. This alone is above and beyond what most doctors are concerned about. I don’t have to go through several lower class drugs to get the one that will do the job.
My friends are so amazed with my wellness visits, the quick response to help and referral when needed. I never have to wait to get in to see him when I’m sick. When I broke my wrist last month, I saw him within an hour and had an appointment with a hand specialist the next morning!! I feel very blessed to have such caring office staff, nurses and such a clean, welcoming office. I know he makes those things happen too. I haven’t always been thrilled about the cost of our healthcare, but I can’t imagine going back to the old healthcare system today. I am so very thankful that Dr. Hood knew he needed more time to help his patients. His goal is to give his patients their best life possible and today I understand he was correct in making the changes needed to do just that for us.
It’s with a big thank you that he takes care of me and my family in the office, on the phone and in the hospital. He knows the system and doesn’t hesitate to make things happen.
He is always upfront and up to date on the latest procedures. He explains the newest procedures available, but doesn’t force you to do things you are not comfortable with. He listens to your concerns and together we work for the best possible solutions. I am just so glad I have a doctor that cares and I know that because he demonstrates that to me every day with his concern for my family. He’s not just my doctor he’s my friend.
