Dr. Gary H. Kato, My Doctor

Thirty-one years ago, in 1993 at the age of 54, I was blessed to become a patient of Dr. Gary Kato. Over the years, I had previously gone to about half dozen other general practitioners. I planned to retire in about 6 years and wanted a doctor that would help me manage my health into my later years. My daughter had heard positive reviews about Dr. Kato and suggested I see him. Well, it was the best decision I have ever made. At each and every visit with Dr. Kato, he takes the time to check my current health problems, and any tests that were done, explain them to me, then asks if I have any questions or concerns. When done I always feel confident and re-assured that he's doing everything necessary to help me. He once told me that when he refers me or his other patients to see a specialist, that it is someone that he himself sees. There's absolutely no better referral than this! At my last MDVIP physical annual exam in December 2023, after going over all my tests and results with Dr. Kato, I said, " Gosh, Doctor Kato, with all that you are doing to take care of me I'll probably live until I'm over 100. I'm now 85. He smiled and said, "that's what we're hoping for".
