Dr Fusco

I recently was diagnosed with throat and tonsil cancer. Its 100% curable and treatable but because of this program, Dr Fusco got me immediately into the ENT guys at Greenwich Hospital who then put me in touch with the surgeons at Yale New Haven. 2 CT scans, a pet scan, an MRI and a biopsy later (all within a month mind you), the exact diagnosis was correct and we started my 7-week regimen of radiation 5x a week and chemo once a week. I already feel the malignant mass shrinking and chewing, drinking, eating and swallowing is less painful. I have absolute faith in the professionals spearheading my treatment but what has been most impressive to me is Dr Fusco's constant, weekly follow ups...not asking how I'm doing, but reviewing my charts and all the other doctors' notes in layman terms!
