Dr Dunlevie pays close attention to detail.

A few years ago during routine bloodwork, Dr. Dunlevie noticed my thyroid numbers were going up, never out of range, but they should have settled down and had not.
After a bit more looking, he reasoned that I was experiencing hyperparathyroidism. He referred me to a surgeon who said my numbers weren't necessarily high enough to indicate this to him. But he agreed with Dr Dunlevie's diagnosis and commended him for his attention to the trend in my thyroid numbers.
I underwent surgery with only one parathyroid gland needing to be removed and by God's grace two previously unknown thyroid nodules were also removed at that time.
I so appreciate Dr. Dunlevie's attention to detail like slight increases each year that led him to this diagnosis. It could have been years before I was out of range. So this was an early easy surgery and a very good result.
Dr. Dunlevie is very gracious with his time during my yearly physical, kindly answering my (often too many) questions. I have been blessed to be his patient for 20+ years.
