Dr. DeBoard has made a huge difference to me in my life. He actually saved my life back in 2004 with his incredible knowledge. I had been up sick to my stomach all night and thank god decided to come in to see him the next day. After examining me, he suspected appendicitis and found a cat scan machine that was available. What they found was a very enlarged appendix and I went in right away for emergency surgery. My surgeon told me it was perforated inside and tucked up against the liver, and it burst as he took it out. If it had not been for Dr. DeBoard's expertise, I would not be alive today. I am not sure if he knows this, as in those days he was oh so busy. And his visit to me in the hospital the next morning was such a welcome surprise.
Dr. DeBoard knows how nervous I can be about my health and it has all stemmed from that incident in 2004. I am an information seeker and wish to understand as much as I can about my health now. Dr. DeBoard is so good about answering my questions and I feel very confident in his knowledge.
I am so grateful that he is part of the MDVIP program now as I advance in to my aging years, and have noticed how much more relaxed his office feels. I feel so much more confident that I can be in touch with him, and likewise, live a calmer, healthier life.
He was my mother's doctor too, so I go way back with him.
And my wish for him is to feel more relaxed too and to take care of his health!
I feel so blessed to have Dr. DeBoard as my doctor. He is one special man.
