Dr. DeAtkine has many professional & personal attributes that excel over other physicians. He is exceptionally competent in his field of endocrinology, but most notably he is consistently inquisitive & curious about new technologies & research that can potentially benefit his patients. He probes to learn about personal circumstances impacting health, and then shares (often illustrating with diagrams on paper) in laymen's terms the latest ideas for solutions, leaving decisions on a course of action up to the patient.

I was his patient prior to his joining MDVIP. I am a relatively low maintenance patient and therefore the membership fees have been painful; however, I must admit that having him accessible to me has been a genuine comfort. He (and his staff) has made himself accessible through text and email, and has always been very responsive in the rare instances he has been needed between visits, which I appreciate most of all.
